Sales Specialist
Law Offices of Adam Dayan, PLLC, located in New York City, is dedicated to protecting the rights of children with special needs. We represent parents in pursing appropriate education programs and services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Our growing law firm is looking for an experienced Sales Specialist who can make a lasting impression on prospective clients.
The Role

The Sales Specialist needs to be someone who has a proven track record using a consultative sales approach to sell professional services or high ticket items. You need be someone who has the ability to genuinely connect with prospective clients and successfully convert them into new clients, creating urgency and conveying the value of our services.
Experience in the legal industry is a plus, but not required, as you will not be giving any legal advice. We will teach you about our work.
Our clients and prospects are dealing with a difficult experience that can be very emotional, you must be able to empathize, show compassion, and put them at ease. Our Firm’s work is to help them. The Sales Specialist is responsible for ensuring that prospective clients have a great client experience, so previous customer service experience is critical in succeeding in this role.
The ideal candidate will also have previous experience working with sales metrics and will be able to carefully and accurately track data to monitor and refine our sales funnel. You are going to own this process and system. You will redesign our sales funnel with our Operations Director and our Marketing Manager and you will work closely with our intake team to improve our overall sales.
Following up with clients who don’t retain our services after consultations is a very important step in our sales process. You must be intentional and consistent with our follow-up, and approach it with the same empathy and enthusiasm as you do initial consultations. Similarly, you must be comfortable with addressing prospective clients’ objections and not someone who would shy away from potential roadblocks when closing a sale.

Responsibilities
Perform initial consultations by phone and video conference
Maintain scripts and training materials for sales team
Oversee the preparation and sending of client engagement agreements for e-signature
Follow up with prospective clients
Follow up with new clients to ensure satisfaction with services
Manage outreach efforts to help with firm’s online reviews campaign along with the Marketing team
Conduct monthly meetings to discuss quality & volume of leads through various lead sources
Recommend adjustments to the sales process and marketing campaigns
Ensure proper handover of clients to the legal team
Onboard new clients, complete file opening & closing procedures
Keep track of leads pipeline in CRM and also on spreadsheets
Keep track of inbound and outbound referrals and referral sources
Document and update the firm’s sales procedures related to the role
Provide training and support to intake team
Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications
2-3 years sales experience for professional services and/or high ticket items required
Real life experience in navigating personal struggles and overcoming obstacles that has enabled you to show empathy to others going through similar hardship
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Compensation
Earning potential of $200,000 for the right individual who is focused on meeting all of their key
performance indicators. Skills and experience are required and valued but personality, character,
intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations. High-maintenance, humorless,
self-entitled, or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and need not apply.
